Year-Round Beach Volleyball
Description: VA Sand National Team is the highest level of commitment in the year-round programs and spaces are limited. YR National team requires tryouts and mandatory practices and travel to tournaments. National Team athletes should have a strong volleyball/beach volleyball background and a desire to pursue a playing career at the collegiate level. National Team members can expect to cultivate their ball skills, physical characteristics and their beach IQ. National Team members will work with our Strength & Conditioning coach 2x per week during the winter (December-February).
Tryouts: Tryouts will be announced soon.
Price: $2,500 (payment plan available)
Practices: VA Sand National Team athletes will practice 3 times per week depending on time of season. Practices for the 2022-23 season will be determined once closer to the date. Virginia Sport and Spine will be included in the package of training.
Tournaments: VA Sand National Team athletes will have a tournament schedule that includes specific mandatory tournaments, as well as encouraged events including college showcases and national qualifiers. Coaches have the right to pair athletes for select events including club v club events, qualifiers and nationals.
Recruiting: National Team athletes will be assisted in recruiting efforts, including film and highlight video reviews, profile reviews as well as connecting with college coaches across the country.
Player Package: National Team athletes will receive a gracious player package included in their team dues.
Regional Team
Description: VA Sand Regional Team is a year-round program geared towards players who wish to grow their skills, physicality and beach IQ without a large practice and tournament commitment. The goal of the Regional Team is to prepare athletes to transition into a National Team role eventually. Regional Team practices will be separate from National Team practices. Tryouts are required for Regional Team athletes.

Price: $1,500 (payment plan available)
Practices: VA Sand Regional Team athletes will practice 1 time per week Nov-February and 2x weekly March-June. November-February practices will be determined closer to date.
Tournaments: VA Sand Regional Team athletes will not have any mandatory tournaments, but are encouraged to attend events with the club. Coaching is limited depending on the event and coaches availability. Coaches will not pair Regional Team athletes for events.
Recruiting: Regional Team athletes will be assisted in recruiting efforts including help with their recruiting profile.
Player Package: Regional Team athletes will receive a moderate player package included in their team dues.
